Hi!

My name is Delaney Sears, and I love to make things. My creative endeavors have varied from theatre, to video editing, to making a small revenue on social media - and as a Media Studies major at Vassar College, I never had to choose which one to pursue! 

​

My focus while at Vassar was digital media, film, and the social and cultural impact of them - my senior thesis centered around analyzing animated children's movies with body horror theory, seeking to explain why certain movies caused childhood fears of movies that were not intentionally "scary."

​

In 2021, I started at Carnegie Mellon as a Masters of Entertainment Industry Management student, and have fallen in love with script development and creative producing. I've gotten to work with UTV, Blumhouse, ILM, and Sony, all while building my own personal brand as a content creator and digital media editor. Maybe you saw me on Dropout.tv's Game Changer!
